On 16 August 2025, the Value Group proudly hosted its first Annual Awards Event at the beautiful Thaba Eco Hotel, nestled in the south of Johannesburg. This milestone celebration brought together representatives from across divisions to honour individuals whose outstanding contributions help drive our collective success. The evening was hosted by the charismatic Jason Goliath, a well known South African comedian and a familiar face to the Value Group. Jason previously hosted our Value World Expo in 2022 and the prize giving at the 2025 Annual Golf Day. His energy and humour added a vibrant touch to an already memorable evening, keeping the audience engaged and thoroughly entertained throughout the night. Awards were presented across a wide range of divisions and departments, recognising achievements in exceeding sales targets, securing new business and operational excellence. Special Director’s Awards were also handed out to recognise individuals who went above and beyond in their roles. The honoured divisions included Supply Chain Sales & CRM, Truck Rental, Dedicated Distribution, Express, Linehaul, Warehousing, Chemical Logistics, Clearing & Forwarding, and Key Distributors.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the winners, especially the top three profit-driving divisions and the recipient of the Exceptional Growth in Profits award. Your hard work and dedication are truly commendable, and your achievements serve as a shining example of what’s possible when excellence meets effort. WITH OVER 200 GUESTS IN ATTENDANCE, THE EVENT WAS A TRUE CELEBRATION OF EXCELLENCE. A highlight of the evening was the crowning of our internal champions who achieved the highest profit for March 2024 – February 2025 across the Group. Jattie van Wyk retained his title as King (first place) for Warehousing, while Wayne Baskcomb maintained second place for Dedicated Distribution. Joining the podium for the first time was Jimmy Essadiyal, who proudly claimed third place for Truck Rental. This year’s Exceptional Growth in Earnings Award was presented to JP du Preez for his outstanding performance in the Linehaul division, marking a significant achievement in profitability and growth.
